This is a great book .. I bought it for my Grandsons .. I read it, of course..
Was very funny and made me think about some of the stunts we pulled growing up..
I'm sure young brothers will relate to this book.. I had seen an interview of the
author on a talk show, was very informative .. a good read over the summer .. |

Funny / Quick Read |

I read these stories out loud to my boys frequently and it's the perfect book for that because it's broken up with quick-read, easy chapters. I feel like the stories really do transcend the generations -- the laughs are not "huge" but come often so there's always a pay-off. We enjoyed it a lot. |

I am very familiar with the author's work and own several of his books in my children's library at home. When I read the reviews/plot for Knuckleheads, I knew my grandson would love it. I wasn't there when the book arrived, but the word I received from his parents is that he sat down immediately and read his way through half the book--laughing loudly--before he took a break to do other things. It's a boy's book, evidently, with lots of belching and boys getting into mischief. I'm glad the author has hit another home run with his books for kids. |
