When 17-year-old Sydney's divorced grandparents visit simultaneously, it seems there will be no end to the bickering. Then little brother's science experiment goes awry and instead of preserving roses, he sends both grandparents back to their youth. The young-people-out-of-time story line leads to many "young fella" versus "dissing" language gags. Then doe-eyed grandma gets an eye-opening school lecture on the use of a condom--a funny, but unnecessary scene that gives the movie its Parental Discretion rating for language and mature subject matter. Of course young grandma Cat (Tamera Mowry) looks exactly like Sydney (Tia Mowry), resulting in the inevitable dating mix-ups, until young Grandma and Grandpa predictably fall back in love before literally plunging back into old age. This 93-minute Showtime vehicle for the Mowry twins (TV's Sister, Sister) and their brother Tahj is better than average, although its "street" savvy may leave older teens and true urbanites wincing. Good family movie |

I remember watching this on the disney channel. I enjoyed it then so I decided to buy it. Its more of a teen movie but the whole family can enjoy this. |

Lots of fun to watch! Loved it!! |
Anyone who is a fan of Tia & Tamera (from Nickelodean's 'Sister Sister' will love this. And even if you're not, im sure you will enjoy this. Its the story of a young boy (Tahj Mowry who is also a little cutie!) who accidently contaminates his grandparents soap which upon using, causes the two to turn into 17 year olds again.
Tamera plays the young grandma, Tia plays Tahj's sister, and an actor named Mark Taylor (who by the way is incredibly gorgeous!) plays the young grandfather.
Its funny and also quite romantic.. but perfect for kids or adults. All the songs are done by Shawn Stockman (from BoysIIMen) and they are an excellent addition to the movie.
I saw this on tv a few years back and had to order the dvd as it is a fantastic movie! I recommend it to everyone! |

i love disney movies & this is one of the best i have ever seen ----- i've given so many dvd's of 17again as gifts-- I want everyone to see this sweet movie-- I give it 5 stars & I wish i could give it more than 5 stars! I love it! |
