Product Description |
|
Despite the delicate and intricately stamped appearance of pizzelle cookies they are deceptively easy to make. Simply deposit a scoopsworth of batter on the heated plate, close the lid, and a minute later you have a picture perfect pizzelle. The warm cookie can be wrapped around a dowel like a canoli or molded over an inverted custard cup to make a bowl. And of course you can let them harden in a flat position too, to enjoy as is or drizzled with syrup or for use as a giant sandwich cookie. |

Cooltechelectronics.com Review |
|
Crisp, sweet, and decoratively imprinted, pizzelle cookies make a wonderful holiday gift--as does the press itself. To use, simply scoop a spoonful of batter on each round nonstick surface of the press, close and latch the lid, and in only 60 seconds two perfect pizzelle are ready. Roll the warm pizzelle around the included wooden dowel to make cannoli, or shape over an inverted custard cup to make a tiny dessert bowl. Pizzelle harden as they cool, and can be eaten flat like crisp cookies or shaped and filled with chocolate mousse, whipped cream, or fruit. A five-setting switch on the press adjusts the temperature for browning preference, and recipes in the instruction booklet offer variations on flavors. A measuring spoon is included. Red and green lights indicate readiness, and a quick reheat time means three dozen of these four-inch cookies can be cooked in no time. The press measures 9 by 8 by 4 inches, is easily wiped clean, stores upright to save space, and comes with a three-year warranty against defects. --Ann Bieri |

Not happy |
|
I am disappointed in this. It sticks every time, even with non stick spray. I'm not happy at all. |

Easy to use and the price is right! |
Having had two other Pizzelle makers, and wearing them out, I found this press to be easy to use. I have more Pizzelle's turn out beautifully without sticking than I did with my other presses. My neighbors and friends LOVE my Pizzelle's; this is something new to them. I recommend the Cuisinart for ease of use and price.
I like the recipe in the booklet too, it is easy and tasty. |

Love This Pizelle Maker! |
|
I use this pizelle press several times a year, especially at holiday time. My friends look forward to pizelles as Christmas gifts. I recently purchased another pizelle press as a gift for my friend. The press always makes uniform size pizelles. I especially like to form cylinder cells out of the pizelles and stuff them with spumoni -- like spumoni cannoli's! |

get a real baker like VillaWare or Cucinapro |
|
This piece does not make traditional pizzelles. Get a VillaWare or Cucinapro. They work better |

WONDERFUL Pizzelle Maker.. |
I am a pretty methodical consummer. I think about my purchases, research them, think about them again and then look for the best deal. I had seen a recipe for pizzelles, and it struck me what a simple recipe it is. I know pizzelles are classic, relatively low caorie cookies, and can be served in a variety of ways. Started looking into the differnt pizzelle makers, and came across this Cuisinart model. Read all the reviews. It was available at Bed, Bath and Beyond for $40 (with 20% off).
Finally took the plunge yesterday and bought it. Whipped up the basic pizzelle recipe and was worried b/c my dough came out more formed/stiff than I expected (I expected the dough to be like crepe dough - pretty thin). I proceeded anyway and my first pizzelle came out PICTURE PERFECT. The whole first batch (34 pizzelles) came out great. I had to regrease the pans a couple of times, but not a big deal. Could not be happier with this product.
A really wonderful pizzelle maker. I can't wait to try new recipies, and eventually give as gifts. |
